## Estimating Support SpecialistApply: Avon, MN: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R8797**A DAY IN THE LIFE**Assists the Estimating department with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal requests regarding quotes, bid planning, reporting, and administrative assignments.**STEP INTO THE ROLE*** Solicits quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers by preparing the following: request for proposals (RFPs), making phone calls, e-mailing and advertising utilizing SmartBid software. Returns calls from the subs/suppliers to answer questions or bid results.* Downloads owner received RFP documents and monitors additional information uploaded by owner. Copies and distributes plan documents.* Assists bid teams with planning and scheduling pre-bid meetings, bid planning, and bid file set-up and completion.* Creates bids using HCSS and Excel software programs.
