Blattner Company in Avon, Minnesota is seeking a Buyer (Avon Office) to administer the end-to-end purchasing cycle for materials and equipment, including PO planning, transport decisions, and expediting orders. The role emphasizes achieving the lowest total cost while maintaining quality and reliability.

You'll partner with the Sourcing team to develop category strategies and manage supplier performance, while collaborating with project managers, planners and warehouse staff to keep records

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of purchasing, planning, or related supply chain experience.
• APICS or similar certification preferred.
• Warehouse/inventory background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and manage purchase orders based on field requisitions and project needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery dates, and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, cycle counts, and investigate variances.
• Collaborate with Master Data, planners, project managers, and warehouse staff to keep records accurate.

## Buyer (Avon Office)Apply: Avon, MN: Full time: Posted Today: R8927**A DAY IN THE LIFE**Administers the end to end purchasing cycle of materials and/or equipment including planning & executing purchase orders, determining transport for these orders on/off the job site, executing lease agreements, expediting materials/equipment and resolving quality and invoice issues. Ensures equipment & materials land at the lowest total cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need. Partners with Sourcing team to build and leverage category strategies and manages supplier performance.
