Job summary

VERUS AEROSPACE FINANCE INC in Torrance, CA is seeking a cost estimator and proposals specialist to develop, plan and schedule proposals in response to RFPs. You will compile cost, schedule, and technical elements from multiple departments to support pricing activities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred) and 2+ years’ experience. Proficiency with Enovia, 3D PDF, and MS Excel is desirable; aerospace fabrication knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• ,High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred; minimum 2+ years’ experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace aluminum sheet-metal fabrication, titanium forming, assembly structures and BOMs.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specs, drawings, 3D models, and GD&T requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
• Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in proposal development per RFP.
• Coordinates data from functional departments for should-cost and pricing reviews.
• Participates as member of contract negotiating team.
