Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead our estimating and quoting function in a fast-paced engineer-to-order manufacturing environment. You will oversee a team of Sales Estimators and partner with Program Managers to ensure accurate, timely quotes.

This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of manufacturing costs, BOMs, and drawings, and a track record of improving quote quality and turnaround.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in estimating or project management in manufacturing or ETO environments.
• 2+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience reviewing drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; can manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 3+ Sales Estimators.
• Review RFQs, determine scope and priority.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations for pricing.
• Improve quote turnaround times and estimate accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs like quote volume and win rates.
