Job summary

gpac, on behalf of a growing manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment, seeks a Product Quoter I and an experienced Estimator II. You will prepare quotations and manufacturing cost estimates, review RFQs, drawings and BOMs, and collaborate across Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Operations, and Sales to deliver accurate, timely quotes.

You will maintain pricing in ERP/MRP, translate customer needs into cost‑effective solutions, and drive quoting accuracy, turnaround, and profitability

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• ERP experience is helpful but not required.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product quotations and manufacturing cost estimates.
• Review RFQs, customer specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
• Calculate materials, labor, purchased components, and manufacturing costs.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Operations, and Sales.
• Maintain pricing within ERP/MRP and estimating systems.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotations and technical questions.
• Improve quoting accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time.
• Support engineered products from concept through production.
