Job summary

Blue Energy is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the estimating team for major industrial and energy projects. You will oversee conceptual to definitive cost estimates, manage subcontractors, and ensure alignment with schedules, market conditions, and risk.

Strong leadership and advanced Excel-based estimating skills are required. The role involves coordination with project controls, procurement, and engineering, delivering accurate cost governance and executive reporting throughout

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of estimating experience on large industrial, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or EPC projects.
Minimum 5 years in a lead or management role overseeing estimating activities.
Demonstrated experience preparing estimates exceeding $100 million in TIC.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation of Class 5 through Class 1 estimates per AACE practices.
Develop estimate plans, methodologies, assumptions, exclusions, and basis-of-estimate documents.
Establish WBS aligned with project execution and cost-control systems.
Manage estimating resources, consultants, and subcontractors.
Coordinate input from internal and external SMEs for estimates and risk assessment.
Prepare estimate summaries for management and financing.
