Job summary

The Boldt Company is seeking an Estimating Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting the preconstruction process across various projects. You will assist with preparing cost estimates and proposals, review drawings and specifications, and analyze historical data to help develop budgets and project plans.

You’ll work with experienced estimators and mentors, across multiple locations, gaining exposure to estimating tools and collaborative planning that drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program; preferred majors in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrated passion for the construction industry and desire to learn.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships via calls.
• Goal-oriented with focus on personal development.
• Evidence of high academic achievement and leadership roles preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
