The Boldt Company is seeking an Estimating Intern in Sacramento, CA to support preconstruction efforts on diverse projects. You'll assist with cost estimates, review drawings, and analyze data under experienced estimators and mentors.

You'll gain hands-on experience with industry estimating tools and the vital role estimating plays in turning concepts into construction. This internship emphasizes relationship-building, learning, and real project contributions from day one.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program in Construction Management, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Willingness to build relationships via phone calls and collaborative work with estimators.
• Proactive, goal-oriented with strong academic achievement and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction by preparing cost estimates and proposals.
• Review drawings and specifications to aid budgeting and planning.
• Analyze historical project data to develop accurate budgets and plans.
• Collaborate with estimators and project teams to support estimating tools and processes.
