Job summary

UEC seeks a construction management/engineering intern to support the preconstruction and estimating teams in Arizona. You will help prepare proposals, analyze bids, assemble bid packages, and participate in site visits to understand project conditions.

The role emphasizes learning and collaboration, with exposure to Revit/Navisworks for quantity development and cost estimation. Weekly pay and opportunities for growth are highlighted in the compensation package.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and vendor proposals for compliance with project requirements.
• Help prepare and assemble bid packages with all necessary documents and specifications.
• Attend preconstruction meetings, take notes, and assist with follow-up tasks.
• Organize and maintain project documents including plans, specs, and addendums.
• Participate in site visits to understand project conditions and requirements.
• Support the estimating team with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid package creation.
• Use modeling software such as Revit or Navisworks to develop accurate quantities and support estimating.
• Collaborate with operational leads, estimators, and team members to complete preconstruction activities accurately and on time.
