Job summary

Rotor Clip is seeking an Estimating Engineer to support RFQ activities and cost analysis. You will develop accurate manufacturing cost models and competitive selling prices while ensuring production feasibility and margin objectives are met.

The role involves reviewing RFQs and specifications, estimating material, labor, tooling, and overhead, and collaborating with Engineering, Sales, and Production teams to deliver timely quotes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years estimating and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer RFQs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Develop cost estimates including material, labor, tooling, outside processing, and overhead.
  • Recommend selling prices aligned with margin goals.
  • Perform capacity analysis.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production Control, and Customer Service.

  • Respond to time sensitive customer requests
