Job summary

Charles Schwab in Westlake, TX is seeking an Estates Relationship Specialist to guide trustees, executors, heirs, and attorneys through estate and divorce processes with clarity and empathy.

You will own estate cases end to end, review legal documents, mitigate risk, and provide client-focused service via phone, email, and written communications while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year operational experience in call center, legal or financial services including brokerage, banking, legal/paralegal, or research
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related area
  • Ability to learn, apply and retain new information and skills with an emphasis on understanding state regulations and limits
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal partners by actively listening, asking thoughtful questions, and conveying information in a way that supports understanding
  • Follows established processes and workflows to ensure thoroughness while tracking open items and following through on commitments made to clients
  • Comfort with running multiple programs on dual monitors while remaining organized and efficient. Familiarity with technical programs/systems and ability to learn and adjust to new systems
  • Identifies the information needed to clarify a client’s issue, asks clear and thoughtful questions to gather accurate details, confirms understanding, and uses the information collected to determine appropriate next steps or resolutions
  • Desire for continuous improvement and openness to feedback and coaching

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Active Series 7 & 63 licenses

  • 1-2 years’ experience working with estates distribution or retirement topics.
