Do you have experience working within a maintenance environment? Would you like the challenge of being part of a busy team responsible for our 6.5-acre site? If so, we’d love for you to apply for the role of Estates and Facilities Assistant.
The Estates and Facilities Assistant will be part of a team working to maintain our 6.5-acre site at Emmaus Cambridge. The site includes a large retail shop and café, smaller retail spaces, residential accommodation for up to 48 residents, warehouses, workshop, office spaces and extensive grounds including boundary hedges, trees and car parks.
The Estates and Facilities team keeps residents’ homes well maintained and safe. They also enable the day-to-day running of the social enterprise and its development.
You’ll work in a small, busy team. Your duties include minor works and routine checks of our residential accommodation, commercial buildings and grounds. You’ll also keep accurate records of inspections and completed works, helping keep the site safe and in good repair for our residents and customers.
