Job summary

Edward Jones Trust Company is seeking an Estate Settlement Trust Officer (Trust Advisor I) to oversee probate and estate settlement trust administration and act as the primary relationship manager for these accounts. You will onboard and close accounts, analyze assets in a high-volume setting, and work with financial advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in trust/estate administration, with strong knowledge of trust law,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent training, certification or work experience.
• Knowledge of trust administration principles, estate planning principles, taxes, and investment principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, delegate and follow up with others providing client service.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of probate and estate settlement trust administration per guidelines.
• Onboarding and closing of accounts; asset identification and analysis in high-volume environments.
• Developing and retaining client, beneficiary, and team relationships.
• Reviewing trust agreements, wills, contracts to mitigate risk.
• Partnering with financial advisors to understand client needs and deliver excellent service.
• Explaining complex tax and estate planning concepts to beneficiaries and advisors.
• Serving on committees and contributing to business planning as requested.
• Managing special assets and real estate including inventory, appraisal, sale or transfer
