Job summary

The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal to support attorneys in estate planning, probate, guardianship, wills and trusts. You’ll draft pleadings, handle discovery, manage case calendars, and coordinate document execution across our Texas offices.

A minimum of 2+ years TX experience and paralegal credential are expected. You’ll work in a hybrid environment with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a bonus plan tied to billable hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in estate planning/probate in TX
• Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate or related Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent typing and computer literacy, MS Office/Google Suite
• Proficiency with Clio and TxDoc or similar software
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of estate planning, probate, guardianship, wills, and trust matters
• Draft, format, proofread pleadings, motions, orders, and other court documents
• Prepare and respond to discovery, including organizing and summarizing documents
• File documents with courts (e-filing and in-person) and meet deadlines
• Maintain case calendars with hearings, deadlines, and client meetings
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists
• Coordinate signings and assist with execution of documents
• Perform legal research and support case strategy
• Collaborate with attorneys and team to move cases forward
• Other duties to support estate planning and probate practice
