Job summary

LeoForce in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney with mid-level experience to draft and review estate planning documents, provide tax advice, and guide clients through probate and wealth preservation.

You will work with financial professionals to develop comprehensive plans, analyze complex tax regulations, and represent clients in probate court when needed. A JD and state bar admission are required, with at least five years of estate planning and probate experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and tax law.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret tax laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
• Draft, review, and revise various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Provide sound legal advice to clients on estate planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection strategies.
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of probate administration.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.
• Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues related to estate planning and wealth preservation.
