Job summary

gpac is seeking an Estate Planning & Probate Attorney to join its growing legal team. You will work with individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, wealth preservation, trust matters, and probate administration.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the state bar.
• 3+ years in estate planning and/or probate.
• Strong knowledge of trusts, estates, probate, and estate administration.
• Experience with probate filings, court proceedings, and estate administration.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents.
• Advise clients on estate planning, asset protection, and wealth transfer strategies.
• Consult with clients and develop customized estate plans.
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters.
• Assist with probate filings, inventories, and accountings.
• Guide personal representatives, executors, and beneficiaries through probate.
• Handle estate administration, including creditor claims and asset distribution.
• Assist with trust administration and complex matters.
• Review and update existing estate plans as needed.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing guidance.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
• Advise clients on estate planning, asset protection, and wealth transfer strategies
• Conduct client consultations and develop customized estate plans
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters
• Assist with informal and formal probate proceedings
• Prepare and file probate pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, and other court documents
• Guide personal representatives, executors, and beneficiaries through the probate process
• Handle estate administration, including creditor claims, asset distribution, and resolution of estate-related issues
• Assist with trust administration and contested or complex estate matters
• Review and update existing estate plans as needed
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing legal guidance

Qualifications
