Job summary

Orion Placement in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced estate planning and elder law attorney for an in-office Appleton role. You will advise clients, draft wills and trusts, and coordinate with a knowledgeable team to protect assets and plan for the future.

Must be a licensed Wisconsin attorney with 1+ year of relevant experience. The practice emphasizes education, collaboration, and client-centered outcomes, offering a stable, reputable environment and strong compensation.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Bar admission in good standing.
• 1+ year of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Genuine interest in helping clients and families navigate complex planning decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on estate planning strategies tailored to personal, family, and financial circumstances.
• Prepare and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Counsel clients on asset protection, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
• Develop practical legal strategies that help clients preserve assets and achieve long-term goals.
• Meet directly with clients, explain complex legal concepts clearly, and provide trusted guidance throughout the planning process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals to deliver comprehensive, high-quality client service.
• Stay current on Wisconsin estate planning and elder law developments and apply that knowledge to client matters.
• Contribute to a professional environment focused on education, innovation, and exceptional client outcomes.
