Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a licensed Wisconsin attorney to join our estate planning and elder law practice in Appleton. This in-office role provides the opportunity to advise clients, draft wills and trusts, and guide asset protection, Medicaid planning, probate, and trust administration.

Qualifications

  • Wisconsin Bar admission in good standing.
  • 1+ year of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Genuine interest in helping clients and families navigate complex planning decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies tailored to their personal, family, and financial circumstances.
  • Prepare and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Counsel clients on asset protection, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
  • Develop practical legal strategies that help clients preserve assets and achieve their long-term goals.
  • Meet directly with clients, explain complex legal concepts clearly, and provide trusted guidance throughout the planning process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals to deliver comprehensive, high-quality client service.
  • Stay current on Wisconsin estate planning and elder law developments and apply that knowledge to client matters.
  • Contribute to a professional environment focused on education, innovation, and exceptional client outcomes.
