You will prepare and analyze estate, gift, and trust tax returns, assist with tax planning, and ensure compliance. Collaboration with attorneys, financial advisors, and a tax team is essential.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory knowledge, and proactive communication to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA, Enrolled Agent, LLM, CFP, MST, or JD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and review estate, gift, and trust tax returns (Forms 706, 709, and 1041) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Tax Planning and Analysis: Assist in crafting wealth-transfer strategies and analyze data to support planning decisions.
• Client Engagement: Interact with clients, attorneys, and financial advisors to gather information and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Research and Technical Expertise: Conduct in-depth research on estate, gift, and trust tax laws and prepare memos or reports.
• Collaboration and Process Improvement: Work with the tax team to improve processes in return preparation and planning services.
