Henry Ford Estate: Fair Lane in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Facilities Custodian to maintain cleanliness and support events at the historic estate. This full-time, in-person role covers interior and exterior care and works with a dedicated staff year-round.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years custodial-related work experience.
• Able to work with ladders, lifts, and outdoors in various conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Custodial tasks including cleaning restrooms, floors, trash, dusting, and supply restocking.
• Launders clothing using estate equipment and approved vendors.
• Support event setup and tear-down (tables, chairs, cleaning, stock supplies).
• Maintain custodial equipment and inventory of supplies.
• Coordinate with facilities team and contractors as needed.
• Ensure safety and health standards for visitors and staff.
