Job summary

Incommunities is hiring an Estate Cleaner to join us on a permanent basis. You will perform cleaning tasks across properties, common areas, gardens, stairwells, and more, using vacuums, buffers, mops and brushes. You will also perform caretaking duties such as unblocking rubbish chutes and reporting faults.

Applicants should have cleaning or caretaking experience, a valid UK driving licence, COSHH knowledge, and the ability to work weekends on a rota. A basic DBS check is part of pre-employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, caretaking or refuse collection.
• Full manual UK driving licence is required.
• Basic COSHH knowledge and health and safety understanding.
• Ability to work weekends/evenings on a rota basis.
• Flexibility to work across multiple districts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas identified by management including common spaces and stairwells.
• Use vacuums, buffers, mops and brushes effectively.
• Carry out caretaking duties such as bin rotation and reporting faults.
• Work outdoors on rubbish clearance and fly tipping.
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld and report hazards.
