Job summary

North Carolina Bar in Asheboro or High Point, NC seeks a Senior Estate Administration Legal Assistant to own the firm’s Estate Administration matters and lead the Estate Administration assistant team, delivering compassionate client service and top-tier legal support.

You will oversee estate file management, intake processes, research, document preparation, information discovery, and direct client interaction, while ensuring accurate accounting and file management.

Qualifications

• Experience with NC Estate Administration law or related field.
• Bachelor's degree, paralegal degree or certificate, or 1+ years of experience with Administration of Estates & Guardianship files.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with Clio, preferred.
• Notary Public preferred, or to be obtained upon hire.
• Paralegal certificate, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns the firm’s Estate Administration matters and manages the Estate Administration assistant team.
• Provides outstanding and compassionate customer service to clients and top-rate legal support to attorneys.
• Manages all Estate Administration matters, including file accounting, intake and process management, research and analysis, document preparation and review, information discovery, and direct client interaction.
