Cody, Cody & McCarthy LLC is seeking an experienced Estate Administration Attorney to lead probate and trust settlement cases in the Greater Boston area. The role requires handling complex estate matters from intake through settlement, with focus on delivering client-centered service.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a heavy caseload while working both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated probate and trust settlement experience.
• Demonstrated Massachusetts estate tax and Federal estate tax return experience.
• Ability to draft probate and trust documents and manage complex tax-related filings.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage estate administration, probate, and trust settlement cases from start to finish.
• Prepare and file Massachusetts and Federal estate tax returns and gift tax returns (706/709).
• Prepare, review, and submit probate forms and court documents.
