Job summary

Evonik Corporation in Little Rock, AR, seeks an experienced ESSHQ Site Lead to oversee safety, environmental, health, and quality at the LR site. You will monitor ESSHQ processes and provide expert guidance to plant departments, driving lessons learned and risk mitigation across operations.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and 3–5+ years of safety experience in a chemical plant, with ISO knowledge and strong communication skills. This position is based on-site with Evonik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical field is required.
• 3–5+ years of safety experience in industrial/chemical plant environments.
• Experience with ISO requirements and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESSHQ efforts at the site and act as LR site contact to regional ESSHQ.
• Monitor and review ESSHQ processes and KPIs at the site.
• Provide support and consulting to plant departments on ESSHQ matters.
• Initiate lessons learned programs to improve safety and ESSHQ initiatives.
• Ensure transfer and implementation of ESSHQ requirements from Evonik and BL Catalysts.
• Identify and address ESSHQ compliance risks in line with corporate standards.
