Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a qualified professional to administer Oracle Essbase/EPM solutions and support audit activities for AAM business systems. The role requires hands-on Essbase expertise, OneStream experience for financial reporting and planning, and collaboration with Finance.

The position involves on-site work four days a week at facilities in Ogden, UT or Auburn Hills, MI, with strong analytical and communication skills to resolve complex issues and support users across finance and IT groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
• 3-5 years of experience administering and supporting Oracle Essbase/EPM solutions in a large enterprise environment
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with OneStream, including financial reporting, consolidation, planning, forecasting, security administration, data integrations, and user support
• Knowledge of JD Edwards finance systems is preferred
• Knowledge of month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently
• Effective communication with users is crucial for understanding requirements and providing support
• Willing to work on site 4 times a week in either of our facilities in Ogden, UT or Auburn Hills, MI

Responsibilities

• Essbase Administration
• Full access to administer Essbase servers and databases, including creating, deleting, and modifying dimensions, members and databases
• Provisioning users with appropriate roles and access permissions
• Monitoring system performance and tuning Essbase applications for optimal performance
• Providing user support and troubleshooting configurations for new users
• Managing hardware and software infrastructure with IT, including server maintenance and security enforcement
• Audit support for AAM business systems (SOX, GIA, ITGC)
• Planning, risk assessments, documentation, execution, testing, and follow-up to resolve issues
• Interfacing with Finance during Essbase responsibilities

Job description

This position has two primary responsibilities: Essbase administration and Audit support for AAM business systems.

• Essbase Administration
• Full access to administer Essbase servers and databases. This includes creating, deleting, and modifying dimensions, members and databases.
• Provisioning users with appropriate roles and access permissions.
• Ensuring optimal performance of Essbase applications by monitoring system performance and tuning as necessary
• Provide support to users, this includes troubleshooting issues and offering support for configurations to new user.
• Working with IT to manage the hardware and software infrastructure that supports Essbase, as server maintenance and implementation and enforce of security measures.
• Audit support
• For AAM business systems by participating in all aspects of audits (SOX, GIA - Group Internal Audit, others) and IT General Controls
• Planning, risk assessments, documentation, execution, testing, review, and follow up to ensure resolution of any identified issues.
• Financial Background
• As part of the candidates Essbase responsibilities there will be interactions with the Finance department.

What Is Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with OneStream, including financial reporting, consolidation, planning, forecasting, security administration, data integrations, and user support. OneStream is used within Autoliv for monthly reporting, consolidation, and forecasting activities.
• General knowledge of Financial Systems
• Knowledge of JD Edwards finance systems is preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Possess strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently
• Effective communication with users is crucial for understanding requirements and providing support
