A leading organization seeking an ESS Project Manager to support Navy operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management for Navy initiatives, including budget oversight and task coordination. This role involves defining project goals, milestones, and ensuring alignment with Navy requirements.

We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking aESS Project Manager to support our Navy customer from a Remote location. This position will be located at or near the Washington Navy Yard.

·Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Position/Job Description:
General Tasking Description:
·Oversees and leads support for specific task areas of the program. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks.
·Develops and maintains the budget for each year of the contract in those task areas.
·Responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans. Responsible for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiating with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources.
·Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.
Experience Requirements:
·10 to 15 years of professional experience supporting Navy programs.
·Experience providing program support to Navy Shipbuilding programs.
·Experience providing program management for business operations and strategic initiatives on Navy programs.
·Experience with DoD/DON procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process, middle tier acquisition)
·Prior Navy active duty, reserves, or civilian experience is preferred.
·Experience in Navy Weapons Systems is preferred.
Educational & CertificationRequirements:
·A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
·Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Level II Program Management is preferred
