Job summary
Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking an ESS Design Engineer – Secret Clearance for a remote role with significant CONUS and international travel. The position supports operations in Charleston, SC, with national and international travel to Italy, Bahrain, and the UK, and requires an active DoD Secret clearance.
The role focuses on design, installation, testing, and deployment of Electronic Security Systems for U.S. government missions.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma; 8 years hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge and/or certification with electronic security manufacturers listed.
- Experience with ACS, IDS, CCTV systems and related hardware.
Responsibilities
- Participate in site surveys and data gathering for design.
- Design, install, test and implement ESS per customer requirements.
- Generate materials lists and support design reviews.
- Perform Pre-Installation, Testing and Check Out activities.
- Read ICD drawings and electrical schematics for projects.
- Coordinate with proposal teams for scope and budgets.
