Job summary

Phoenix Union High School District is seeking an ESS Data Technician to develop and maintain student and program data for ADE reporting and other requirements. You will train campus staff on data collection, maintenance, and reporting and ensure accuracy across multiple data sets.

The role supports the Exceptional Student Services department, handling sensitive information with discretion and coordinating with district staff to ensure timely data submissions and compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in a school office or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain confidential student data and records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain data for local, state, and federal reporting to ADE.
• Review student records for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce and disseminate reports from databases and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate data collection with campus staff and programs.
• Assist with ESS census and related paperwork.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional interaction with the public.
