Job summary

University Place School District seeks a Student Information Services Specialist to oversee the UPSD student database using the WESPaC system. You will coordinate year-end and year-start processes, prepare state and federal reports, and export data for third-party software.

You will train registrars and office staff, ensure data integrity, and act as liaison with OESD #114. Strong SQL, Crystal Reports, and data-security skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years of experience with student records in data processing preferred.
• Experience with Skyward and/or Skyward HR/Payroll preferred; migration to Qumlativ experience is a plus.
• Strong data integrity, reporting, and data security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage UPSD student database in WESPaC; develop district protocols for data entry and database practices.
• Coordinate year-end/year-start processes and export files for third-party software.
• Produce required state/federal reports, including CEDARS and OSPI submissions.
• Train registrars, office staff, and secretaries in data entry and reporting processes.
• Serve as liaison with OESD #114 for issues, alerts, and training opportunities.
• Maintain data security and supervise access for district users.
