Job summary

Stevenson University in Towson, MD seeks an Assistant Director of Recreation & ESports to lead a competitive collegiate program, recruit student-athletes, monitor academics, and manage a staff of five part-time coaches. You’ll relaunch a Fitness Class program on campus and ensure compliance with NCAA/club leagues while coordinating with campus partners to deliver strong athletic and academic outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree plus collegiate level competition or administrative experience
Ability to manage budgets and to be fiscally responsible for those budgets
Ability to recruit student-athletes and oversee staff and operations

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of a competitive collegiate ESports program.
Oversee and supervise the part-time Head Coaches in the ESports program.
Implement and maintain a quality recruiting program for Stevenson University.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, equipment inventory, and fundraising.
Travel with the ESports program to events and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Relaunch and oversee a Fitness Class program on-campus open to faculty, staff, and students.
