Job Description:

1. Coaching: practice planning and game preparation.
2. Recruiting: talent identification, evaluation, and communication with potential recruits.
3. Budgeting: development, management, and fundraising activities.
4. Student-athlete development: mentoring, including individual and team dynamics, team rules and conduct, leadership development, and a commitment to safety and well-being of student-athletes.
5. Monitoring satisfactory academic progress of student-athletes.
6. Demonstrate knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations.

Salary Range: Commensurate upon prior relevant paid work experience and education level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical education, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field; or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester credits in these areas.
• Two or more years of coaching experience.
• Knowledge and/or experience in eSports.
• Knowledge of MCAC and NJCAA rules and regulations.
• Prior experience with recruiting student-athletes.
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills, including basic accounting practices.

Work Shift: Varies; specific hours are flexible to fit the coach's and students' schedules.

Telework: Discussed upon hire.
