Job summary

Stansbury High School is seeking an enthusiastic Esports Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in developing our competitive gaming program. The assistant will help organize practices, matches, and events while promoting teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.

This role involves teaching game strategy, managing rosters, coordinating schedules, and ensuring academic eligibility and adherence to district and league rules.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience coaching, teaching, or participating in competitive gaming is preferred.
• Ability to motivate, teach, and lead students.
• Excellent public relations with staff, parents and administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in developing the esports program.
• Organize and supervise practices, matches, and events.
• Oversee team trips and school events within budget and rules.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic eligibility.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate schedules.
