Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport/activity.
• Experience as an athlete and/or coach.
• Work closely with program assistant coaches.
• Ability to motivate, teach, and lead.
• Energetic, responsible, dependable, self-motivated and punctual.
• Excellent public relations skills; work with staff, parents and administration.
• Experience supervising teens on trips, camps and competitions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the fundamental skills of the sport/activity.
• Develop drill and practice activities to enhance team performance.
• Motivate students to excel in academics and sports.
• Oversee trips and events beneficial to the team and school.
• Participate in pep rallies and school meetings; hire and instruct assistant coaches.
• Schedule sports activities within district budget.
