Job summary

Tooele County School District's Stansbury High School is seeking an enthusiastic Esports Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in developing a competitive program. The assistant coach will help organize practices, supervise matches, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship among student-athletes.

This position involves teaching game strategy, managing rosters, coordinating schedules, and ensuring academic eligibility and adherence to district and league rules.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport/activity.
• Experience as an athlete and/or coach.
• Work closely with program assistant coach(es).
• Ability to motivate, teach, and lead.
• Be energetic, responsible, dependable, self motivated and punctual.
• Have excellent public relation skills and work effectively with staff, parents and administration.
• Experience working with teens and willingness to supervise on trips, camps and competitions.

Description: Assistant Coach eSports

Stansbury High School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Esports Assistant Coach to help the Head Coach to develop our competitive gaming program. The assistant coach will help the head coach to organize and supervise practices, matches, and events while promoting teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. This position involves teaching game strategy, managing rosters, coordinating schedules, and ensuring academic eligibility and adherence to district and league rules. The ideal candidate is a positive role model who fosters an inclusive, supportive team culture and helps students grow both as competitors and individuals.The assistant coach will help to oversee sporting trips and events that are beneficial to the team and the school. Engages in pep rallies and school meetings. Maintains team equipment, and assists in scheduling sports activities while following a budget that conforms to the districts regulations. Experience with coaching, teaching, or competitive gaming is preferred.
