Job summary

Tooele High School is seeking an enthusiastic Esports Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in developing a competitive gaming program. The role involves organizing practices, supervising matches, and promoting teamwork among student-athletes.

You will teach game strategy, manage rosters, coordinate schedules, and ensure academic eligibility while adhering to district rules. Experience with coaching or competitive gaming is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coaching or teaching, preferably in esports or athletics.
• Demonstrates ability to motivate, teach, and lead student-athletes.
• Familiar with rules and regulations of the sport/activity.
• Experience working with teens and willingness to supervise on trips, camps and competitions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in organizing and supervising practices, matches, and events.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.
• Teach game strategy and manage rosters; coordinate schedules and eligibility checks.
• Oversee trips, pep rallies, and school meetings; maintain team equipment and budgeting.
