Job summary

Border States in Fargo, ND is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, receive freight, inspect for damages, and route materials to the correct stock locations. Responsibilities include packing, locating inventory, and coordinating with carriers for deliveries.

The role requires forklift familiarity, basic SAP use, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. This position is full-time and anchored in our 100% employee-owned company culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, internet, email and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Follows-up with appropriate departments, carriers, and/or vendors on receiving discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material to be delivered.
• Maintains shipping equipment and keeps work area clean and safe.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
• Maintains inventory stock locations and proper labeling.
