Job summary

Border States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations in Chantilly, VA. You will receive freight, verify condition, and distribute items to stock locations while handling special orders and deliveries. Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires basic forklift experience and good English communication, with a focus on safety and reliable customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle.
• PC working knowledge to use SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Follows-ups with departments, carriers, and/or vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
• Maintains assigned inventory stock locations and ensures shelves are neat and orderly.
