Challenge Manufacturing in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Production Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift to weld, trim, and assemble metal parts using resistance welders and power presses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with resistance welding and power presses preferred.
• Ability to follow quality policies and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates resistance welders and power presses to weld, trim, punch and shape stock.
• Inspects parts for conformance to specifications and logs non-conformances.
• Maintains housekeeping and safety in the work area; follows QA procedures.
• Moves between stations as production needs; ensures materials are available.
