Job summary

Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a part-time grant-funded administrator to support the Center for Adult and Family Literacy. Responsibilities include coordinating ESOL IELCE/IET enrollment, scheduling, recruitment, and data reporting for various program activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with workforce partners, curriculums design, student advising, and retention efforts within the adult literacy program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience coordinating a functional process in an education setting.
• Experience working in Adult Literacy ESOL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement IELCE/IET enrollment processes including recruitment, orientation, intake, and assessments for ESOL students.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate IELCE/IET classes in collaboration with workforce and technical training program areas.
• Prepare, analyze and provide data and reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.
• Ensure security of all testing materials and distribution of course paperwork to program staff and partners.
• Assist in the process of recruiting, hiring and training adjunct faculty and staff.
• Communicate with program staff and external partners regarding student referrals, course placement, progress, and employment needs.
