Job summary

Beaufort County School District seeks an ESOL InstructionalCoach to work with teachers to boost ML students' achievement. The role ensures district, state, and national guidelines are met and coordinates ESOL program improvements across schools.

The coach will provide research-based instructional strategies, supervise classroom observations, and support professional development to align ESOL practices with CCSS and ML standards.

Qualifications

• Currently certified ESOL teacher or eligible to obtain SC certificate within 60 days.
• Masters in ESOL or related field preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of CCSS and SC ML standards; ability to implement district curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in meeting ML students' academic needs.
• Provide instructional strategies to improve English proficiency and achievement.
• Conduct classroom observations and give feedback to improve instruction.
• Develop improvement plans with district/school administrators for ML students.
• Deliver professional development on ESOL requirements and CCSS for ML students.
