• Accesses ESL Innovations software for student information as needed.
• Provides English instruction to enhance basic skills for identified LEP students when possible.
• Researches instructional materials suitable for LEP student needs.
• Serves as a resource on best practices to classroom teachers serving LEP students.
• Assists families of LEP students to improve communication with translation support when available.
• Encourages family participation in school activities and supports LEP students in school life.
• Offers insight into cultural contexts for LEP students to staff and families.
• Assists with remedial and curriculum-based content instruction for LEP students.
• Maintains records for monitoring academic and language growth of students.
• Collaborates with the Director on department activities and other duties as assigned.
