The ideal candidate holds a Texas ESL certificate, a bachelor’s degree, and at least three years of secondary teaching experience, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas Educator Certificate with ESL endorsement required commensurate to assignment.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience in secondary education.
• Knowledge of TEKS and ELPS.
• Technological proficiency with productivity and learning management system tools.
• Data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESL program services to emergent bilingual students through CBLI and align with TEKS/ELPS.
• Develop and implement lessons meeting curricular requirements and language proficiency levels.
• Facilitate targeted small-group and whole-group instruction based on EB students’ needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to accelerate language development and student achievement.
• Participate in LPAC, ARD, and MTSS/RTI meetings as needed.
