Job summary

Spring Independent School District BAMMEL MS in Houston, Texas seeks an ESL Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This exempt position reports to the Principal and requires a Texas teaching certificate and an ESL endorsement.

The ESL Teacher will lead small groups, provide targeted interventions, and monitor student progress through STAAR and CBA data, collaborating with staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited College or University.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate.
• ESL Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide additional student support through small groups for all grades.
• Assist administrators and teachers with the planning and implementation of effective instructional interventions and tutorials.
• Monitor the progress of identified students following STAAR interventions.
• Monitor the academic progress of identified students following interventions based on CBA data.
• Communicate by maintaining on‑going communication with administrators, and classroom teachers.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by the principal to further develop the education of the students as a whole.
