Cincinnati Public Schools is seeking educators to join the ESL Substitute Teacher Pool in Cincinnati, Ohio. This pool supports classroom teachers across elementary and secondary levels with immediate start dates.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, managing classrooms, engaging diverse learners, and maintaining professional communication with families. A valid Ohio teaching license and a bachelor’s degree are required, with evidence of ongoing professional growth and adherence to CPS

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in elementary or secondary education from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure: Ohio Teacher license appropriate for subject(s) and grade levels taught.

Responsibilities

• Support urban students to succeed; adapt instruction to diverse socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
• Maintain a safe, conducive learning environment and professional relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support district objectives and evaluation methods.
