Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Manager of ESL Programs to drive academic outcomes for emergent bilingual students through content-based language instruction and strong instructional coaching across secondary grades.

You will coach teachers, APSS, and school leaders on multilingual frameworks like Get Ready!, Summit K12, and 7 Steps to a Language-Rich Interactive Classroom, with a focus on data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in multilingual education.
• Texas teaching certificate with ESL supplemental is required.
• Proven results driving emergent bilingual academic and linguistic growth.
• Experience coaching across secondary schools and APSS leadership encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Effectively coach teachers to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Lead APSS and teachers in setting clear, measurable CBLI goals with ongoing support.
• Observe ELDA instruction, provide feedback, and develop actionable strategies.
• Ensure consistent ELPS use and linguistic accommodations aligned to language proficiency.
