Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Manager of ESL Programs to drive academic outcomes for emergent bilingual students. You will coach teachers on language acquisition, CBLI frameworks, and multilingual programming across secondary grade bands and content areas.

Focus areas include implementing Get Ready!, Summit K12, and 7 Steps to a Language-Rich Interactive Classroom, while coaching APSS and school leaders to improve language development and proficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; a relevant Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum two years as an assistant principal, school leader, or bilingual instructional coach at a secondary campus or district level.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate + ESL Supplemental.
• Proven record of emergent bilingual academic and linguistic growth.

Responsibilities

• Coach teachers to improve instructional effectiveness and CBLI practices.
• Support secondary schools by coaching APSS and leaders to implement CBLI strategies.
• Lead professional learning, observations, and feedback cycles.
• Monitor ELPS compliance and linguistic accommodations aligned to student language levels.
• Facilitate professional learning communities and data-driven planning.
• Collaborate with regional and school leaders to meet bilingual targets (TELPAS growth).
