Computer-Systems-Institute in Charlestown, MA seeks an Adjunct Intensive English Program Instructor to deliver ESL courses to beginner through advanced levels. You’ll plan curricula, teach up to 27.5 hours weekly, and engage students via LMS and collaborative learning.

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in ESL/EFL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related field; 2+ years teaching adults preferred. Excellent English, strong pedagogy, and willingness to participate in professional development and

Formación

• Knowledge of pedagogical methods teaching ESL
• Native or near-native ability to speak English
• Experience teaching adult learners preferred

Responsabilidades

• Teach Beginner to Advanced ESL up to 27.5 hours per week
• Prepare and submit lesson plans prior to each session
• Grade and provide timely feedback on student work
• Evaluate and monitor students’ progress using assessments
• Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction with diverse activities
• Maintain records of academic progress for reporting to the Academic Dean/Program Manager
• Provide academic advising to support student growth and retention
• Attend quarterly instructor in-service meetings
• Pursue professional development with at least two growth activities annually
• Organize and lead field trips for student enrichment quarterly
• Contribute to program improvement via feedback and committee participation
• Perform additional tasks as needed
