Dutech Systems is looking for a passionate ESL Instructor to teach onsite at a Tyson facility in Sanford, NC. The ideal candidate will conduct classes focusing on improving the English skills of adult learners. You will deliver approximately 9 hours of instruction weekly and develop lesson plans while maintaining an engaging classroom environment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, along with a relevant certification, is preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential for this role.

Job Overview

Client is seeking a dedicated and engaging ESL Instructor to teach onsite, face-to-face English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at a Tyson facility in Sanford, NC. The ideal candidate will be passionate about adult education and committed to helping frontline team members improve their English language skills.

Class Schedule

• Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
• Thursday: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately 9 instructional hours per week teaching ESL and/or English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses.
• Develop and prepare instructional materials and lesson plans.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for adult learners.
• Attend Upward Academy partner meetings, faculty meetings, and training sessions.
• Participate in recruitment events and program culmination activities.
• Track attendance and maintain required program documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or adult education programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage and support diverse adult learners.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
• Experience working with multicultural populations.
