Wake Technical Community College is seeking to expand our pool of adjunct faculty to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) classes in the College and Career Readiness Division (CCR). Openings for these positions may not exist at the present time; however upon review of your qualifications, you may be contacted directly by the department on an as needed basis.

Facilitates community building in virtual and/or seated instruction through collaborative learning, open dialogue, communicative activities, student participation/engagement and student retention activities, including continuous contact with students through email, texts and phone calls.
Participates in scheduled Professional Development and staff meetings.
Collaborates with Instructional Program Specialists and College & Career Readiness Staff to identify students needing additional support and assist eligible students who are transitioning into college and careers.
Adheres to all policies of the site at which the ESL classes are held, unless in direct conflict with College policies.
Arrives to class on time with a quality lesson plan prepared to teach for the duration of the contracted class time.
