Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience teaching ESL to adult learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ESL lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of adult learners.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Assess and evaluate students’ language proficiency, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and enhance curriculum materials.
• Stay current with best practices in ESL instruction and integrate innovative teaching methods.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning community.
• Class schedules may include day, evening or weekend schedules.
